STUDENTS WILL LISTEN TO A SONG AND ANSWER 10 SHORT QUESTIONS TO ENSURE THEIR COMPREHENSION OF THE TEXT. THEN, THEY WILL RECORD TWO VIDEOS. IN THE FIRST VIDEO, THEY WILL OFFER ADVICE TO THE SINGER AND EXPRESS THEIR CONCERNS BASED ON WHAT THEY HEARD FROM THE SONG. IN THE SECOND VIDEO, THEY WILL REPLY TO TWO OF THEIR PEERS' VIDEOS AS IF THEY WERE THE SINGER.
This is a website tool that allows students to record and post audio and video in a meaningful, fun, and engaging way. The site allows for oral communication in a setting outside of class.
Students use Peninsular and Latin American paintings to discuss visual media. The students then take inspiration from these works to create and discuss their own three-painting series.
