The objective is to give students an immersive cultural experience in addition to learning about this world famous event and festival. The students will use Google cardboard viewers along with a smartphone and the google cardboard application.
This interdisciplinary lesson combines Spanish language, history, art, and cultural studies. Students annotate historical moments contained in an authentic text (Renau’s mural). By the end of the semester, students will have generated a complete timeline of the events studied in class. Students also create their own artwork related to another moment in history and add it to the timeline.
